I’ve never understood why there’s so much hate on frizzy hair. It has been trendy at times, like in some 80’s hairstyles or early 2010s.
I don’t mind people doing their hair in one way or another, what upsets me is people (again, particularly women) being pushed to look a certain way in order to be considered professional or put together.
I think this affects people with curly hair mostly, my hair would look “tidy” a day or two after I washed it, but frizz would usually take over very fast, and forget about a windy day or a bad humidity level. It was exhausting to have to tie it up or do it every morning because otherwise I looked “crazy” or “lazy”.
Let people have frizzy hair if they like it, and let’s stop basing people’s value on their looks ✨
